Personal Bio

Ruth works as a clinician, and supervisor in CWI. She is a member of the teaching faculty of the M.Sc.in Systemic Psychotherapist, 4th Professional Accreditation programme and the Training in Supervisory Practice Programme . Ruth has also extensive experience as a second level teacher where she worked as a teacher, had responsibility for encouraging and developing leadership skills, working as transition year coordinator, promoting health and resilience in students and working as school counsellor. Ruth also worked with a co therapist to pilot and develop a Systemic approach for Families with a difficult relationship with Alcohol. Ruth has experience of working on the ‘aftercare’ team of Rutland Centre, Dublin and also as ‘family worker’ in ‘Turas’, Family Centre in Darndale, Dublin.
