Some of our work with individuals, couples and families takes place
with a team of therapists.
The team includes professionals who are doing further training to become registered family therapists. All of the teams include an experienced registered family therapy supervisor.
When working with a team, clients will always see the same therapist.
The use of a team approach allows the therapists consult with other
therapists and hear a lot of different views that may be helpful to the clients.
Confidentiality is assured and all therapists adhere to strict codes of ethics.
The advantages of a team appointment include: – the collective wisdom
of a number of therapists, shorter waiting lists, lower fees which are
based on an ability to pay and the fact that most clients who avail of
the team approach find it to be a positive experience.
